Negaunee woman accused of robbing Ohio banks
TOLEDO, OH– A Negaunee woman is jailed in Toledo, Ohio, accused of robbing two banks.
WLUC-TV reports Ashley Elvetici, 21, is accused of handing a note to a teller at Charter One Bank January 26 and receiving an undisclosed amount of money. She allegedly did the same thing at a KeyBank Wednesday morning.
No weapons were used in the robberies. Witnesses say Elvetici left both scenes in a green Taurus.
Elvetici was arrested at a motel Wednesday around 10 p.m. by the Northwest Ohio Violent Crime Task Force. She remains lodged in the Lucas County Jail.
