Snyder does snowmobiles over the weekend

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI– Governor Rick Snyder got into a different kind of race than the political one over the weekend.

The Michigan governor attended Saturday’s International 500 snowmobile race in Sault Ste. Marie. He rode a snowmobile one lap around the mile-long track, then dropped the green flag to start the race. He also attended a Friday evening race reception.

Snyder spent a few days in the Upper Peninsula holding town hall meetings and attending other events.
