Jason Paul

When he's not busy with his primary job as a master control operator for Public TV 13, Jason helps Public Radio 90 with their web operations.

Jason graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting.  During his time at NMU he worked behind the scenes for the student newscast Public Eye News, which airs on Public TV 13. He took over as producer/director his senior year and helped PEN win a First Place award at the 2002 Michigan Association of Broadcasters High School & College Awards.

After graduating, Jason spent time as video intern for the Plymouth Whalers major junior ice hockey team before accepting a job as an audio/graphics operator for WHOI-TV in Peoria, Illinois at the start of 2003.  Following a year and a half in the Heart of Illinois, he accepted the position of master control operator for WNMU-TV and returned to Marquette in the summer of 2004.

Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Mich., Jason has spent the better part of his life since 1997 in the Upper Peninsula and considers himself a converted Yooper.  He resides in Marquette with his fiancée Felicia and their many furry four-legged children.
