Bay Mills gets money for childhood education center
BRIMLEY, MI-- Bay Mills Community College in Brimley has received funding from the USDA Rural Development Tribal College Grant Program.
The program provides land-grant institutions with funds for outreach and education services to help meet the needs of Native American communities.
Bay Mills will use its nearly $159,000 grant to construct a new early childhood education learning lab building.
The funding is part of $3.3 million in grants for 21 projects in eight states.
