IRON COUNTY, MI-- The Iron County Sheriff's Office is investigating a vehicle-bicycle crash east of Crystal Falls.
Tuesday around 9:10 a.m. deputies received a 911 call about the accident on M-69 about two miles east of Mansfield Cut-Off Road.
Two sisters were riding touring bikes on a cross-country trip that had taken them through Michigan and Wisconsin. Deputies say Jane Little, 71, of Ypsilanti was riding on the edge of M-69 when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Dale Smith, 30, of Channing.
Little was taken to Aspirus Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Smith was ticketed for careless driving.
