Cocaine bust in Manistique

MANISTIQUE, MI--   A Manistique woman has been arrested on multiple drug-related charges.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team completed a several-month investigation when they executed a search warrant at a Manistique residence Monday.  They seized an ounce of crack cocaine, marijuana, and cash related to narcotic sales. 

The woman was lodged at the Schoolcraft County Jail for two counts of delivery of cocaine, two counts of delivery of prescription drugs, possession with the intent to deliver over 25 grams of cocaine, and maintaining a drug house within 500 feet of a school zone. 

The suspect’s name is not being released, pending arraignment.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
