Friday the deadline to apply for Phase 1 KCF flood relief

HANCOCK, MI--   Residents affected by Father’s Day flooding have until Friday to apply for Phase 1 funding from the Keweenaw Community Foundation.

Those whose homes were completely or majorly destroyed may apply for a $1,000 gift card. The deadline for those who have not yet asked for flood relief is 4 p.m. Friday.

For an application go to keweenawcommunityfoundation.org; call 906-233-6621; or email dial.help@dialhelp.org.

The KCF says once this phase is closed, Phase 2 of distribution will begin. Once all applications are reviewed and distribution is complete, the foundation will announce the process for which additional monies will be distributed from the fund.
