Injuries reported in Marquette crash

MARQUETTE, MI--   One person was taken to the hospital, following a traffic crash on Lincoln Avenue in Marquette Monday. 

A vehicle driven by Aunjah Turnbull, 24, of New Jersey was stopped at a stop sign on eastbound West Bluff Street. She turned left into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Kyndra Fraly, 21, of Marquette.

Fraly was taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment of her injuries. Turnbull sought her own treatment. She was cited for failure to yield.

The Marquette Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
