Interview with Sophie Sam, director of "Anatomy of a Murder" at the Vista Theater

The play "Anatomy of a Murder" will be presented by the Vista Theater in Negaunee, directed by Sophie Sam.  We spoke with Sophie about the production thus far and what the audience can expect.

The production runs from August 2-4 & 9-11 at 7pm, and August 5 & 12 at 2pm.  More information and tickets available at vistatheater.org

Based on a true story set in Marquette County. Semi-retired Michigan lawyer Paul Biegler takes the case of Army Lt. Manion, accused of murdering an Upper Peninsula innkeeper after his wife claimed he raped her. Hailed as one of the best courtroom dramas, this play asks the audience to evaluate the evidence alongside the the jury.

The Vista Theater will also be holding a "Grand "Roofle"", to raise money to replace the roof over the stage so interior renovations can begin. This raffle will run from July 11th - October 20th. Tickets will be available at all Vista Theater Events until they sell out.
