Iron County shooting injures horse

CRYSTAL FALLS TOWNSHIP, MI--   The Iron County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting involving a horse.

Central Dispatch received a call around 12:50 p.m. Thursday indicating a shooting had happened in Crystal Falls Township and a horse had been shot and injured.  Two bullets had apparently entered a home near the same location.

Deputies arrived on the scene and arrested an individual involved in the shooting.

The incident remains under investigation.

State Police from the Iron Mountain Post are assisting in the case.
