DELTA COUNTY, MI-- A downstate man had to be airlifted to UPHS-Marquette following a snowmobile accident in Delta County.
The Sheriff’s Office was called Wednesday around 5:40 p.m. to Trail #7 near Forest Road 2218. They say Kenneth Perrella, 67, of South Rockwood hit a dip in the trail and was ejected from his snowmobile.
Tri-Star EMS transported Perrella to a landing zone, where he was picked up by Valley Med Flight and taken to the hospital in Marquette.
The crash remains under investigation.
