Marquette Police investigate gunshots

MARQUETTE, MI-- The Marquette Police Department is investigating a report of gunshots.

Wednesday around 1 a.m. officers responded to the area of the 1800 block of VanEvera Street after witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots.

Officers say anyone with information about the complaint is asked to call the department at 228-0400.

City police were assisted by the NMU Police Department and the Michigan State Police.
