Marquette Police search for Ohio Street thieves

MARQUETTE, MI--

Marquette Police are searching for three men who allegedly broke into a house and robbed it while the residents were at home.

The incident happened Wednesday around 8:45 p.m. at 229 West Ohio Street.  The victims say they were watching television when three males dressed in black with black bandanas over their faces and hoods on their heads entered the home.  The suspects forced the couple to stay on the couch as they searched the house.  The male victim says he was pushed onto the couch several times and punched.  The suspects took a small safe and left the residence, possibly in a red vehicle.

The men are described as dark-skinned—possibly Native American or Hispanic.  One was tall with a long pony tail hanging down his back.  Another was just as tall as the first, but the third man was shorter.

Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to call Marquette Police at 228-0400.
