ESCANABA, MI-- Two Escanaba residents have been arrested on charges related to possession of meth and manufacturing meth within 500 feet of a school zone.
UPSET detectives conducted surveillance on the two suspects and reportedly saw them purchase meth components at various Escanaba locations. Escanaba Public Safety conducted a traffic stop on their vehicle and found components used to make meth inside.
A search warrant located at the suspects’ residence on Ludington Street uncovered an active meth lab and additional meth ingredients.
Both 18-year-old subjects were lodged at the Delta County Jail. Their names are being withheld, pending arraignment.
