Negaunee man accused of stealing money from business

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Negaunee man has been arrested for larceny in a building. 

The Marquette Police Department says Michael Czenkus, 34, was arrested Sunday for allegedly stealing money from a local business.

He was unable to post 10 percent of the $10,000 bond and remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail.

Larceny in a building is a felony punishable by up to four years in prison.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
