No injuries reported at Sawyer fire

No injuries are reported following a fire at a Sawyer business. Forsythe Township Police and Fire Departments responded at 7:45pm Saturday to a fire at National Carbon Technologies on 4^th Street. Firefighters spent several hours putting out the fire which was contained to the chimney area of the building. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Agencies assisting at the scene included Forsyth Township EMS, Marquette Township Fire… Skandia-West Branch Fire, Sands Township Fire, Sawyer ARF, Marquette County Sheriff, and Michigan State Police.
