NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP, MI-- Only minor injuries are reported in a two-vehicle crash in Negaunee Township.
Thursday at 10:35 a.m. a Michigan State Police trooper came upon the crash on US-41. Apparently a vehicle turning eastbound onto the highway was struck by a westbound vehicle.
The drivers of both vehicles sustained non-life-threatening injuries. One was taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office and Negaunee Township Fire and EMS. Bystanders cared for the injured drivers and directed traffic until emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
