UPSET arrests L'Anse business owner for delivering pot

L'ANSE, MI--   The owner of a L’Anse business has been arrested on a drug charge.  

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team executed a search warrant Monday at the Superior Relief Provision Center on US-41.  They took the owner/operator into custody on three counts of delivery of marijuana. 

The suspect remains lodged in the Baraga County Jail, pending arraignment.

Another suspect was arrested on an unrelated charge. 

UPSET was assisted by State Police from the Calumet Post and the MSP Hometown Security Team.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
