MARQUETTE, MI-- Upper Peninsula Power Company says it’s reopening its campground facilities at Bond Falls, Prickett and Boney Falls.
As the U.P. transitions to Phase 5 of the MI Safe Start Plan, UPPCO is readying the sites for public use. They’ll be available starting Wednesday.
Because the facilities will not have any capacity restrictions, UPPCO officials are encouraging campers to practice social distancing. They’re also urged to keep to their campsite with immediate family.
Boat launches, day-use, and fishing areas around UPPCO hydroelectric facilities will also remain open for public use.
