Several vehicles crash in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   Three vehicles had to be towed from a Marquette intersection, following a crash Wednesday.

City Police say it happened around 2:20 p.m. at McClellan Avenue and West Washington Street. They say Carrie Reynolds, 45, of Negaunee was westbound on Washington when she failed to stop at the red light. She struck a vehicle driven by Jennifer Deiter, 42, of Marquette, which was trying to turn left onto McClellan. A vehicle driven by Addie Goymerac, 43, of Negaunee was also waiting to turn left. It was struck by the first two vehicles.

Reynolds and Deiter were taken to UPHS-Marquette with minor injuries.

Reynolds was cited for a red light violation.
