Michigan State Police have identified the victim in the crash as Dean Daggett, 59, of Kenockee, Michigan.

MORAN TOWNSHIP, MI— A downstate man has been killed in a snowmobile accident in Mackinac County.
Michigan State Police from the St. Ignace Post say it happened Tuesday afternoon in Moran Township. A 60-year-old Kenockee man was southbound on Schoolhouse Road when he came around a blind curve and collided with a logging truck.
The snowmobiler was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
