The Walloon Writers Review is an independent literary magazine inspired by Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. In its sixth edition, it is available now in both physical and digital formats.

Glen Young is the Associate Editor and a contributor to the review, and he spoke with Public Radio 90 about what is in the review, what they aim to capture in each edition, what they look for in submissions and more.

The magazine's concepts are to capture a sense of place for readers in Northern Michigan and provide a space for the creativity of writers, poets and photographers from across the region.
