ISHPEMING, MI-- An Ishpeming man arrested after a 15-hour standoff with police and charged with first-degree home invasion has been bound over to circuit court.
Robert Rajala, 33, allegedly entered his girlfriend’s house without permission on
April 14 and assaulted her. She escaped, but Rajala held police at bay for several hours until the State Police Emergency Services Team and an armored vehicle arrived at the house.
Rajala remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
Circuit court arraignment is set for May 9.
