ISHPEMING, MI— Michigan State Police have arrested an Ishpeming man on child pornography-related charges.
The MSP Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force learned Timothy Romback, 57, was viewing files of child sexually abusive activity online. A search of his residence resulted in digital evidence being seized.
Romback is charged with 10 counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity and 10 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He faces a total of 45 years in prison, if convicted as charged.
A probable cause conference is scheduled for Thursday and a preliminary exam for August 8 in Marquette District Court.
