ESCANABA, MI— An inauguration ceremony was held for Bay College’s new president last week.
Doctor Nerita Hughes is the college’s sixth leader. An investiture ceremony took place Thursday afternoon and a Presidential celebration was held Friday at Bay College in Iron Mountain.
Hughes was selected unanimously by the Bay College Board of Trustees to be the next president.
She assumed the position on July 10th and has completed a 100-day listening tour with input from students, employees, community members and business owners.
