Negaunee, Gladstone residents named to state commissions

LANSING, MI— Governor Gretchen Whitmer has named two Upper Peninsula residents to a state commission and task force.

Greg Toutant of Negaunee was named to the Michigan Opioids Task Force. He’s the executive director of Great Lakes Recovery Centers and a member of the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan Provider Alliance. Toutant’s term began June 15^th and expires June 14^th, 2025.

Mark Bomberg of Gladstone has been named to the Commission on Services to the Aging. He’s the former director of the Long-Term Care Division at Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress. Bomberg was reappointed to represent Republicans for a term commencing July 29^th and expiring July 28^th, 2026.
