Tribe seeks input on health plan

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI--   The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians is looking for public input on a new, five-year Community-wide Tribal Health Improvement plan.

The plan brings together agencies and individuals throughout Tribal communities in the seven-county service area.  Sault Tribe Community Health officials say the goal is to identify ways to dedicate resources to address the Tribe’s most pressing health needs.

A series of four community workshops to collect feedback is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday at Tribal health centers in the Eastern U.P.
