LANSING, MI (MPRN)— Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s office says Michigan First Gentleman Dr. Marc Mallory has tested positive for COVID-19.
The statement says he took a test after experiencing symptoms. The governor has not had symptoms, according to her spokesperson, and a rapid test came back negative.
The governor and her husband are remaining in separate areas while she awaits the results of a second test.
The statement from her office says the governor and her family are all fully vaccinated, including booster shots.
