Dom Flemons will be performing on the 2022 Hiawatha Music Fest main stage

He will bring a century's worth of music to the 42nd Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival

Dom Flemonsis joining a list of traditional music artists on the main stage at this year's 42nd Annual Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival. Known as "The American Songster," he's also a Grammy award winner, a two-time Emmy nominee, and the 2020 United States Artists Fellow, amongst many other credits.

The moniker of "The American Songster" came about from an interest in traditional American music. Being an expert performer at a variety of instruments, including banjo, guitar, and harmonica, he performs from a repertoire covering over a century's worth of music.

His latest release, Prospect Hill: The American Songster Omnibus, is a reissue of his 2014 album, along with extra tracks.
