His creative projects range from music-making to comics, online games and more.

A creative journey can take someone down many paths.

Tone Drew lives and works as a creative in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, working in many types of media. He produces music, comics, graphics, photography, and more. He's lived and worked in Japan but is originally from the U.P. His latest endeavor is creating music for the online MOBA game called REVN.

He started his creative journey in the mid-1990s with music, learning guitar, then music production. Home music production was not as intuitive then as it is today, but Tone continued to learn as the software and hardware evolved. Throughout his time in music, he's worked as a DJ, band member, music producer, and sound designer.

Many of his creative projects related to the cyberpunk genre, futurism, and immersive media. A part of this creativity also relates to his alter-ego, Shamanic Ape, which is a DJ, producer, and comic book hero, who also is a character in the comic series The Carnyverse Saga.

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
