Fence Crows and Raymond Little & The Big Hustle are two musical projects from Marquette, MI

The Local Spin with Andrew Langberg

Two Marquette-based musical groups will perform at Blackrocks Brewery on February 3rd, 2024.

"Raymond Little & The Big Hustle" is a recently formed seven-piece band led by Ray, featuring fellow Marquette musicians. Ray initiated a group chat to gauge their interest in putting together a new project, and many mutual musician friends came together for the first time to form this group. They will play a mix of Ray's original music and a few cover tunes.

Andrew Langberg is one of those musicians (who plays bass with Ray), and he also has another project that will share the Saturday evening bill. Fence Crows is a "countrindiefolk" band from Marquette who have a few releases to their name, including a new three-song single called "Ford River Blues."

Kurt Hauswirth spoke with Andrew Langberg by phone about both musical projects:

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
