'Marquette Values Forum' to feature MI candidates for governor

MARQUETTE, MI— The Michigan Coalition for Freedom is holding a forum for gubernatorial primary candidates Friday in Marquette.

The coalition calls itself a bipartisan, non-profit advocacy group, dedicated to bringing Biblical values back into American politics. The Marquette Values Forum will allow candidates to speak about their platforms, values, and personal beliefs before taking questions.

The event takes place Friday at Kaufman Auditorium. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
