CRYSTAL FALLS TOWNSHIP-- One person has been injured in a two-vehicle accident in Iron County.
Sheriff’s deputies say the crash happened Tuesday around 6:10 p-m at the intersection of US-2 and Idlewild Road in Crystal Falls Township. Officials say 93-year-old Edna McCreary of Crystal Falls was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Idlewild Road when she pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Richard Anderson, Jr. of Alpha.
McCreary was taken to Northstar Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Anderson refused medical treatment.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Michigan State Police troopers and the Crystal Falls Fire Department.
