Another Wisconsin resident arrested for drugs in Delta County

ESCANABA, MI--   A Green Bay man was arrested on drug charges in Delta County Thursday.

Around 9:06 p.m. a deputy with the Delta County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on South Lincoln Road near the airport for a traffic violation. Escanaba Public Safety’s K-9 was called in to conduct an exterior sniff of the vehicle. As a result, deputies located methamphetamine and items used in the sales of narcotics.

The 34-year-old male passenger was arrested and lodged in the Delta County Jail on charges of possession with intent to deliver meth and possession of marijuana.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Escanaba Public Safety and the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
