Appointments needed to visit Marquette County Courthouse

MARQUETTE, MI--   Although Governor Whitmer’s executive order allows Upper Peninsula employees who can’t work remotely to return to offices, the Marquette County Courthouse is allowing visitors by appointment only.

The same will hold true for the Ishpeming Service Center.

All Marquette County courts are accepting filings and holding proceedings. Remote options are being used for court appearances, when possible. Those who are scheduled to appear in-person for a court hearing should contact the court to confirm their physical presence is required.

Visitors will be required to wear a mask in the courthouse and annex building, and social distancing measures must be followed.
