Art Week to be held in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   The City of Marquette will hold its 5^th Annual Art Week June 24^th through the 29^th.

Officials say more than 100 local artists, businesses, organizations and other community partners will collaborate.

Some of this year’s new events include an 8-Hour Comic Challenge, nightly concerts at the Marquette Commons, a special Pine Mountain Music Festival performance at the Presque Isle Band Shell, and a Community Drink & Draw at the Ore Dock Brewing Company.

Art Week will also feature events from years past, including the Downtown Marquette Art Stroll, Fresh Coast Plein Air Painting Festival, and a host of workshops, surprise art installations and more.
