LANSING, MI-- The Department of Natural Resources has announced opening dates for campgrounds, harbors and other outdoor spaces.
Camping at rustic state forest campgrounds and overnight stays at DNR-managed harbors resume June 10.
Camping, overnight lodging facilities, day-use shelters, and sanitation stations in state parks and recreation areas reopen June 22.
Park amenities like bathroom buildings, hand-washing stations, trash services and others will open in phases.
Opening dates for museums, historic sites, visitor centers, and DNR-managed shooting ranges are being identified now. Those dates will be available on the DNR COVID-19 response page.
