MARQUETTE, MI-- Workers represented by the United Steelworkers Union at Cleveland Cliffs mines in Michigan and Minnesota have ratified a new contract.
The four-year agreement is retroactive to October 1 and is effective through September 30, 2022.
It covers about 1,800 employees at the Tilden and Empire mines in Michigan and the United Taconite and Hibbing Taconite mines in Minnesota.
