CLEVELAND, OH-- Cleveland-Cliffs, Incorporated reported record high sales volume in the second quarter of 2019.
In results released Friday CCI says Mining and Pelletizing pellet sales volume in the second quarter of 2019 was 6.2 million long tons, a 4 percent increase from the prior-year quarter on strong customer demand.
The Company reported consolidated revenues of $743 million, a 4 percent increase compared to last year's second-quarter consolidated revenues of $714 million. Cost of goods sold was $480 million compared to $430 million reported in the second quarter of 2018.
The Company recorded net income of $161 million, compared to net income of $165 million recorded in the prior-year quarter.
