Chocolay Police search for missing girl

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI--   Chocolay Township Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a voluntarily missing girl.

Kalysta Vorase, 16, was last seen at her residence on May 3 around 10 a.m. She was wearing a teal-colored sweater and black leggings. Kalysta is 5-foot-1 with burgundy hair and green eyes.

She’s believed to be staying with friends in the Ishpeming area.

Anyone with information on Kalysta’s whereabouts is asked to call Chocolay Police at 249-4040.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
