COVID cases, Menominee County death reported

MARQUETTE, MI--   Menominee County has reported its first COVID-19 death. 

Officials from Public Health, Delta and Menominee Counties say the woman was hospitalized August 31 and died at a Green Bay hospital Tuesday.

Twenty-three new COVID cases were reported in the U.P. Tuesday. Marquette and Delta counties added six each; Menominee added four; Dickinson, Houghton and Schoolcraft counties added two each; and Iron County reported one new case.

A total of 1,313 coronavirus cases have been lab-confirmed in the U.P. Twenty-one people have died.

And the Dickinson-Iron District Health Department has identified a potential exposure site in Iron Mountain. Anyone who visited Solberg’s Greenleaf Sports Bar between September 5 and 12 should monitor themselves for symptoms and see a doctor if they become symptomatic.
