IRON MOUNTAIN, MI-- A Kingsford man faces embezzlement charges, following an eight-month investigation by the Iron Mountain Police Department.
Jason Piatti, 28, is accused of embezzling money from the Krist Oil Company. He’s been arraigned on ten counts of embezzlement by an agent or trustee—less than $200. Each count is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 days in jail.
After pleading not guilty Piatti was released on a $2,500 bond.
A jury trial is set for May 20.
