Downtown Marquette goes digital

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette Downtown Development Authority has created a webpage giving the status of businesses during the “stay at home” mandate.

Digital Downtown Marquette provides information on how to purchase items, how to contact businesses, and to find out if gift cards can be purchased.

Tara Laase-McKinney is the Marquette DDA Promotions and Events Coordinator. She says there is a desire right now to support local businesses as much as possible, as they are the lifeblood of the community.

The page can be found at https://downtownmarquette.org/digital-downtown-marquette/.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
