IRON COUNTY, MI-- An Iron Mountain man has drowned in an Iron County lake.
Sunday evening a fisherman called to report an overturned boat on Chicaugon Lake. Deputies and Iron County Search and Rescue dispatched boats and found the body of Robert Polich, 57, floating near the shore. He was wearing a personal flotation device.
Polich was last seen Thursday evening, when he told a relative he was going out fishing. It’s believed he fell overboard that night.
Police say foul play is not suspected and investigation into the case continues.
