Drug charges pending against Escanaba suspects

ESCANABA, MI--   Two Escanaba residents have been arrested for delivering prescription narcotics.

An investigation by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team led detectives to the 200 block of North 21st Street in the city Thursday.  They arrested a 42-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant connected to another UPSET case.  Officers also apprehended a 46-year-old man.

Both suspects were arrested on two counts of delivery of suboxone, also known as bubrenorphine.  They’re currently lodged at the Delta County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
