Escanaba man pleads to meth charge

ESCANABA, MI-- Sentencing is set for an Escanaba man who pleaded guilty to a meth-related charge.

Robert Jones, 52, and two others were arrested in March after they purchased components used to make meth. A search of a North 16^th Street residence resulted in the seizure of various meth-related components.

Jones was charged with manufacturing meth and conspiracy to manufacture meth. He pleaded guilty Wednesday to operating and maintaining a meth lab.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 26 in Delta County Circuit Court.
