Fraudulent money circulating in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette Police Department is reminding people to take a look at their paper currency.

Officers say they’ve received multiple complaints of fraudulent bills being passed in the City of Marquette. Most of the reported bills are marked with Chinese printing. The money also lacks the proper dimensions and security features found on legitimate paper currency.

Anyone who receives counterfeit bills should contact local law enforcement.
