Gladstone troopers investigate fatal Nahma Township crash

NAHMA TOWNSHIP, MI--   A Wisconsin man has died in a Delta County traffic accident.

Michigan State Police from the Gladstone Post say the crash happened Friday around 10:30 a.m. on U.S. 2 near 24.5 Lane in Nahma Township.

Investigation indicates the man was hauling hot tar in a semi tractor-trailer when he drove into the ditch on the south side of the highway.

Bystanders started CPR on the driver until first responders arrived. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither alcohol nor speed are considered to be factors in the accident, which remains under investigation.
