ESCANABA, MI--   Escanaba High School is getting nearly $20,000 from the Michigan College Access Network to help with college and career readiness.

The Reach Higher System Impact grant will be used to create a senior math foundations class to raise SAT scores in math. The high school also plans to create an early/middle college support program for fifth year students that covers topics related to career and college success.

In this round of grants, four high schools received more than $72,000 as part of the Reach Higher Grant Program. Schools across the state were selected based on a competitive grant review process.
