ESCANABA, MI-- A judge has found a Wisconsin man guilty of robbing two Subway restaurants in Escanaba in 2012.
Following a bench trial in which he represented himself, Brook Grzelak, 52, was convicted Wednesday of two counts of safe breaking, two counts of breaking and entering a building with intent, and possession of burglary tools. He faces up to life in prison.
Sentencing is set for June 23 in Delta County Circuit Court.
